The Bureau of Family Health works to promote the health of Louisiana families, from one generation to the next. The Bureau administers the state’s
Title V Maternal and Child Health Block Grant program
, the
Title X Family Planning program
, and many other initiatives designed to improve the health of men and women of reproductive age, pregnant women, and families, including children and youth with special healthcare needs.
The Bureau offers a variety of resources and services for Louisiana families, as well as data to support healthcare, social service, and public health professionals in their work.

Support Infant Safe Sleep
Resources for families, caregivers, providers, and community organizations to support safe sleep environments for infants through videos, a quiz-based game, a social media feed, and an order form for outreach and educational materials. Health care providers and other community partner organizations may order safe sleep materials to support their outreach and education work.
