Express – Capital Metro – Austin Public Transit Express Our Express routes provide commuter bus service for North Austin and outlying areas, allowing customers to leave their cars at Park & Rides and  travel into Central Austin. Express is able to take advantage of the MoPac Express Lanes, letting riders bypass traffic toll-free. These vehicles have free Wi-Fi, comfy seats and room for your bike. Five Express routes serve Northwest Austin and Leander, with the other two serving Tech Ridge or Elgin and Manor. The Guaranteed Ride Home program provides registered Express, Flyer, Rail and Vanpool customers with a taxi ride home from work in the event of an unexpected emergency. For an annual membership fee of $5, you can register and ge t reimbursed for up to 4 emergency taxi rides a year.
