Job Opportunity: Marketing Coordinator
ACG is searching for a new member of its team: a full-time Marketing Coordinator! This individual will work closely with the Director of Development and relevant staff to create, plan, and execute content for social media and digital newsletters. They will also assist with website maintenance, communications, design, and as needed photography and mission-based events.

In partnership with Asian Arts New York (AANY) and AAPI Heritage Month 518, Albany Center Gallery (ACG) presents
threads: weaving an intricate banner
, an exhibition in celebration of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month. Co-curated by Andrew Kwok, Jennie Tang, and Ed Ticson, this exhibition will be held at ACG from
May 1
to June 13, 2026
. An Artists’ Reception will be hosted on
Friday, May 1 from 5 - 8 p.m.

Silent Book Club for Adults
Book Clubs are popping up nationally, and Albany Public Library has started their own chapter! Bring a book to Albany Center Gallery, settle in, immerse yourself in art, and enjoy the peace of reading with fellow book lovers. No assigned readings or pressured discussion. Arrive in the first half hour, read from 11:00-12:00, and at 12:00 p.m. chat with the attendees or keep on reading.

Art.Work.Space monthly youth workshops
ACG hosts monthly youth art workshops (coined Art.Work.Space.) in partnership with The RED Bookshelf and Honest Weight Food Co-op. The programs are led by local artist mentors on the 2nd Saturday of each month throughout the year. The themes of the workshops dependent on what the youth want and the medium(s) of each artist. We plan to have workshops in writing, mural painting, screen printing, comic book making, collaging, clothing design, graphic design, watercolor painting, music, poetry, literacy, and more!
