Content Overview
National Crime Prevention Council (NCPC)
The National Crime Prevention Council (NCPC) was formed in 1981 to promote public awareness and concern about crime and to propagate the concept of self-help in crime prevention by mobilising the support of groups, organisations and individuals from the community to work closely with the Police to prevent crime. The NCPC is incorporated as a charity and depends entirely on donations and grants to run its programmes and activities. It is registered with the Registry of Societies and also an Institution of a Public Character (IPC).

Singapore Road Safery Council (SRSC)
The Singapore Road Safety Council (SRSC) was formed in 2009 to address the future needs of our road users in areas of road safety. Supported by the Ministry of Transport (MOT) and Land Transport Authority (LTA), the Council will also serve to augment the efforts of Traffic Police in championing road safety in Singapore through areas of public education, research and partnerships with stakeholders.

Liquor Appeal Board
The Liquor Appeal Board (LAB) was formed on 1 April 2015 with the enactment of the Liquor Control (Supply and Consumption) Act 2015. The LAB plays an important role in ensuring fairness in the liquor regulatory framework. The purpose of the LAB is to assess the appeals made by licence applicants or licensees who are aggrieved by the decisions made by the Licensing Officer.

The Public Entertainment Appeal Board (PEAB) was formed on 1 August 2017 with the enactment of the Public Entertainments Act, Cap 257. The PEAB plays an important role in ensuring fairness in the public entertainments regulatory framework. The purpose of the PEAB is to assess the relevant appeals made by licence applicants or licensees who are aggrieved by the decisions made by the Licensing Officer.
