Saved courses Search website Research Centre for Life and Sport Sciences Transforming health and wellbeing The Centre for Life and Sport Science (C-LaSS) is dedicated to interdisciplinary research between life sciences, biomedicine, sport physiology, psychology and performance. The Centre aims to broaden scientific opportunities, as well as address important issues in health and society. C-LaSS seeks the fundamental knowledge that will pave the way to new treatments, therapies and policies, from elite sport performance and talent recognition to the epigenetics of chronic diseases. The Centre assesses a range of common and complex health challenges, providing evidence-based insights and solutions for healthcare and wellbeing. It fosters cross-disciplinary research through engagement with regional stakeholders, professionals sports clubs and leading organisations.
