Financial Aid helps student and their families pay for college and is available through a variety of federal and institutional programs. Students may receive assistance through scholarships, grants, and/or loans.

How To Apply For Aid
Institutional Aid
Institutional aid is any financial assistance received directly from Southeastern College. Apply for institutional aid by submitting an admissions application.

Federal Aid
The primary means of applying for federal aid is by filling out the FAFSA. This form will determine your eligibility for federal aid and need-based institutional aid

Loans
Loans are the largest financial resource available to students. Loans allow students to borrow money at
low interest rates
and
no collateral
. Most student loans do not need to be repaid until the student graduates or drops to less than half-time status.
Students are reminded that borrowing money for college is a
serious financial obligation.
When signing a loan promissory note,
you enter into a legal agreement
. Consider this commitment carefully when taking out a loan.
