We’ve got state-of the-art materials laboratories, prototyping workshops, technology centres, and TV production and performance suites. We also have impressive conference and meeting venues across our two campuses, Brayford Pool and Riseholme Park, offering the ultimate flexibility to create the size, type, and style of event your business may need. In these venues, our in-house hospitality team prides itself on working with local, seasonal produce to create menus for all occasions and dietary needs. Not to mention, you can give your delegates the complete on-campus experience with our accommodation including modern en-suite bedrooms, available outside of term time and all within walking distance of our Brayford facilities. Conservation and Restoration Studios The Lincoln Conservation facilities offer humidity, temperature, light, and dust monitoring; colour, pigment, XRF, FTIR, X-ray, and thermal imaging analysis; historic mortar and paint analysis; a studio for object and painting restoration; and remote environmental monitoring. National Centre For Food Manufacturing (NCFM) Our dedicated training facility offers flexible courses to help employees advance their careers. Industry partnerships are central to our research agenda. With strong sector links and academic collaboration, our multidisciplinary food industry research supports growth and tackles key challenges. Film, TV Studios, Photography, Audio and Fx Our facilities include TV studios with LED lighting and seating for 120, 4K and slow-motion filming, VR/AR, green screen, photo studios, and audio/video production suites for recording and editing. Prototyping, Model Making And Digital Fabrication Our facilities offer 3D printing, CNC milling, flat-bed routing, laser cutting/engraving (wood, plastics, more), and 3D scanning for objects, interiors, and buildings. Architecture and Construction Science Laboratory Our facilities include VR computers, building simulation software, surveying equipment, drones, thermal imaging, environmental dataloggers, cameras, light meters, sound meters, and anemometers. Lincoln Arts Centre Our performing arts centre includes a ground-floor theatre with retractable seating for 400+, a workshop for set and prop manufacture, and dance, performance, and rehearsal studios. Moot Courtroom The Moot Court at Lincoln Law School simulates a real courtroom with a judge's bench, witness stand, clerk's desk, and prosecution/defence solicitor benches for mock trials and legal practice. Business Incubation Centres Our Business Incubation Centres support innovative new and fledgling businesses with mentoring, office space, funding opportunities, and networking events. Traditional and Digital Printing Our facilities include regular and large-format digital printers, digital fabric printing, vinyl cutting for signage and exhibitions, and silk screen printing, etching, relief, and intaglio.
