» Multilingual Learners Multilingual Learners English Language Development Program Mission Statement: The mission of the English Language Development (ELD) Program at Innovation Academy Charter School (IACS) is not only to develop Multi Lingual Learners language proficiency and academic growth but also to develop well-rounded and mutually respectful community members who share a love of learning, thinking, and innovating in collaboration with their teachers and peers. IACS aims to provide effective instruction that complies with current regulations, founded on sound multi language acquisition pedagogy, and research-based best practices offered by licensed English for Speakers of other Languages (ESOL) teachers, and content teachers who have earned the Sheltered English Immersion (SEI) Endorsement.
