A Fresh Look, The Same Mission
A Fresh Look, The Same Mission
Dear Hill Country Families,
If you have been on campus the past few weeks, you have probably noticed some big changes to our building’s look and branding. Hill Country Bible Church recently went through a major rebrand, including updated interior spaces and new exterior signage.
Overall, I believe this is a great move for our school.
Here are a few quick clarifications:
We’re not losing school signage
.
While our Hill Country Christian School sign on Little Elm has changed, this doesn’t mean our school will no longer have signage on campus. Our branding on the exterior may blend more with the church, but we will still have our school acknowledged on exterior signs.
We are still a classical school.
Changing the sign that specifically stated we are classical does not mean we are moving away from classical. Classical has been a Hill Country Christian School distinctive since inception, and that is not changing. I’m committed to this!
Our partnership with the church is strong.
This change does not mean that the school and church are not in a strong relationship. In fact, from what I have heard, the current relationship between the church and school is in the best position it’s ever been. Ultimately, the church needed a branding refresh, and we were willing to allow them to use our school sign because we have partnered together on the sign.
Yes, the sign colors are a little off.
For those who enjoy attention to detail, the current color between the top and bottom of the signs is slightly off. This is going to be fixed.
Now, here’s what I’m excited about:
The new look in our hallways is a great addition and makes the 3rd floor so much more kid friendly. What a fun place to come to school!
We’ll actually have more signage presence than before. Instead of just one sign on Little Elm, our name is going to be on every sign.
I love that our signage reflects our partnership with the church. We’re on the same team, and now it shows.
Our exterior sign was in need of a refresh.
We’ll have the chance to reimagine the first floor with school-specific branding. We’re currently working with designers to make it something really special and showcase our school.
All in all, this is a positive shift for our school. While it came as a surprise to many of you, I hope all of you enjoy the new and fresh look within our halls and the soon-to-be exterior wayfinding signage.
Have a great rest of your week!
