AI Story Lab – Bath Spa University AI Story Lab The AI Story Lab is providing opportunities for under-represented writers in the upper south-west to experiment with AI to tell stories. CCCI are joining creative writing incubator Paper Nations , in partnership with Bristol+Bath Creative R+D , and To Play For to host AI Story Lab, a fully-funded, two-day workshop at The Studio at Palace Yard Mews in Bath in 2020 to explore interactive, immersive storytelling powered by AI. Using their AI platform charisma.ai , To Play For are creating a new way of telling stories, by giving audiences the ability to talk to characters, build relationships with them, and have the story itself adapt and react to how audiences play through it. AI Story Lab brings an opportunity to experiment with this new form of storytelling to ten writers across the upper south-west (Somerset, Gloucestershire, South Gloucestershire and Wiltshire) who are from backgrounds under-represented in the writing, publishing, gaming and theatre industries. There is also the possibility for up to three of these writers to then undertake five-week-long paid placements at To Play For.
