Wraparound Care - Dulwich Prep & Senior Skip to footer School Life Catering Boarding Future Schools Wraparound Care Uniform Wraparound Care At Dulwich Prep & Senior, we have a vibrant and extended-day childcare provision designed to support working parents who require flexibility outside school hours. We call this wraparound care provision ‘ @38 ’, that’s 38 Alleyn Park, and parents will find a range of wraparound care options to suit their needs. We run a fully managed programme overseen by our full-time teaching staff, who ensure that children are well cared for and engaged in fun activities while on site. Our teaching staff are assisted by Play Leaders, employed by the school, in running a variety of activities. Our wraparound care provision begins as early as 7.00am and includes breakfast. After school, pupils can stay as late as 7.30pm or board, depending on age. We aim to give that “home away from home” feeling. We offer homework time, organised activities, multisport options, and free play. All activities are tailored to meet the needs of the specific age groups. Once boys and nursery-aged girls have completed their after-school clubs or homework sessions, they can seamlessly transfer to our wraparound care provision. The provision takes place on school grounds, so they are immediately at ease and comfortable in familiar surroundings full of familiar faces. We use the facilities on our Alleyn Park site to run activities. Spaces such as the library, sports hall, playgrounds, and quiet areas are used for an array of activities. @38 Wraparound Care (Before School) 7.00am – Early Morning Care begins for Years 1 to 11 7.30am – Early Morning Care begins for Nursery & Reception 7.30am – Supervised Breakfast @38 opens at Alleyn Park 8.00am – Early Years Rainbow Club begins at 8 Gallery Road 8.10am – Breakfast @38 closes at Alleyn Park @38 Wraparound Care (After School) 3.20pm – Rainbow Club begins at 8 Gallery Road 3.45pm – Years 1 & 2 After School Club begins 4.00pm until 5.00pm – Clubs and Homework (Prep) Classes for Years 3 to 11 5.00pm – Supervised Tea @38 begins at Alleyn Park for all Year Groups 5.30pm – After School Care @38 begins for all Year Groups 6.30pm – After School Care @38 ends for Nursery & Reception pupils 7.30pm – After School Care @38 ends for Years 1 to 11 Please visit our Boarding page for wraparound care after 7.30pm (Years 3 to 8 only).
