Hematology/Blood Cancers The Division of Hematology & Oncology features a dedicated team who work to treat cancers of the blood and other blood disorders, including leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, myelodysplastic syndrome, myeloproliferative neoplasms, and sickle cell disease. Lung Cancer The Lung Cancer Program evaluates and treat patients with different types of carcinomas and pulmonary disorders, including asthma and respiratory diseases. Pediatric Cancers The Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology provides comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services to children and adolescents with cancer, leukemia, sickle cell disease, hemophilia, and other blood disorders. Skin Cancers/Melanoma The Skin Cancer Program provides care and treatment for all types of skin cancer, including melanoma, basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, Merkel cell carcinoma, porocarcinoma, and sebaceous carcinoma. A medical oncologist specializing in hereditary breast and ovarian cancers, Dr. Hoskins directs the Familial Breast Cancer Clinic at UI Health. His clinical interests include counseling women who are at high risk for developing breast cancer due to family history and providing genetic testing services for women and their family members who are at risk for hereditary forms of breast cancer. Dr. Hoskins focuses on helping women develop individualized plans for reducing their chances of getting breast cancer and providing comprehensive care for women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer.
