CAM’s programs and guided tours offer a culturally-rich environment where Chinese American communities, history and cultural practices are explored in the context of an ever dynamic continuum of American history and culture. Since the museum’s opening, we have partnered with other community-based organizations throughout Southern California to bring students programming that nurture their creativity and spark their inquiry into the complex communities in which they live. We believe that a greater knowledge about the Chinese American experience will expand minds and bring about a greater appreciation of diversity in our multicultural society.
