I specialize in Therapeutic Communities and relational approaches, championing “therapeutic ordinariness” in human services. As a co-founder of the Enabling Environments Award at the Royal College of Psychiatrists, I strive to promote systemic change and improvement. With a background as a psychiatric nurse and a BA (Hons) in Social Psychology and Cognitive Science, my journey has been rooted in the transformative work of Therapeutic Communities. From managing a specialised service for mental health in Eastbourne to leading national initiatives and delivering influential papers, my career has been dedicated to fostering therapeutic environments. I have since led major Organisational Change and Development projects across various sectors, providing training and consultancy on Therapeutic Community, Enabling Environments, and Relational practice. At The Mulberry Bush, we’re renowned for our therapeutic approach with children and our commitment to embodying our core values, mission, and vision at every level of our organization.
