Tenure-track faculty
Lafayette welcomed 16 tenure-track faculty members starting this 2025-26 academic year. They bring diverse backgrounds and perspectives to inspire students in the College’s intimate learning environment, continuing a nearly 200-year tradition of strong student-faculty mentorship.
“I had the pleasure of spending some hours with these thoughtful scholars and teachers the week before the semester began. They bring a vast array of expertise across the curriculum and already boast an impressive number of publications, creative projects, performances, and contributions to fields across the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, interdisciplinary programs, and engineering,” says Provost
Laura McGrane
. “As we welcome these new professors, we catch a glimpse of the powerful ways that Lafayette will continue to evolve in the coming decades.”
