Maternelle (TPS-K) - French International School of Oregon Maternelle (TPS-K) Beginning with our Toute Petite Section class (early preschool for 2 ½ year-olds), French International uses play-based inquiry in a nurturing French immersion learning environment as a springboard to the IB Primary Years Programme which starts in preschool. Maternelle (Cycle 1 in the French curriculum) is the early childhood program which includes TPS (Toute Petite Section ), preschool, prekindergarten, and kindergarten. Toute Petite Section (2.5 Year Olds) Toute Petite Section is our 2.5-year-olds.
