The DA Difference: How We Teach and Learn

The Way YOU Learn Best
We all learn at our own pace and in our own unique way. At Denver Academy (DA), we don’t force students into a mold; we celebrate each student’s unique gifts and talents.
Through in-depth diagnostic analysis and comprehensive evaluation, we uncover learning styles and create a unique learning profile for each student. DA teachers deliver a curriculum customized for the individual and the classroom as a whole with small class sizes of 12 to 15 to facilitate instruction. From Smartboards to iPads, assistive technology, and DA’s Campos EPC SmartLabs (Science, Math, Art, Robotics, and Technology), teachers are equipped with the latest technology to enhance and support each student’s learning style. Able to engage in the way they learn best, students find themselves succeeding like never before.
We See You
Denver Academy fosters a non-judgemental environment that accounts for individual differences while promoting respect, responsibility, community, and acceptance.
Denver Academy Parent Toni B.
The teachers truly care and are present in every moment.
We Ask, "How Are You Smart?"
We encourage students to reach higher by holding them accountable to expectations they can achieve. Our teachers offer students high levels of support to boost confidence and empower success. Students discover and remember that school and learning can be FUN and that they are smarter and more capable than they imagined.
