Students completing a program leading to certification are reminded that while the curriculum of the program is designed to assist students in obtaining certification by outside agencies, the completion of all program requirements does not guarantee automatic eligibility for certification. The Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education program is developed in accordance with the teaching certification requirements of the Florida Bureau of Educator Certification (BEC). The curriculum offered complies with the required BEC standards.
