Public car park and on street parking at Pier Road The route to the museum has some uneven ground, kerbs that are not dropped and cobblestones underfoot Entrance doors are more than 80cm wide and automatic opening on approach There is signage using international symbols throughout the museum to direct and assist users Full size passenger lift with sliding doors available to all floors except the top floor of the Victorian House Fully accessible unisex toilet available. Museum The floor surfaces throughout the museum are a mixture of tile and wood. The Ouless Room has a medium pile carpet. We have a set of evacuation procedures Wheelchair loan is available free of charge on request at reception. Bags and coats can be stored, please ask on arrival. Shop The shop is situated on the ground floor and has flat level access from the main foyer of the museum. Grounds and Gardens There is an outside terrace leading from the museum archway up to the main entrance. The pathways are concrete bricked with a small gradual incline as you proceed towards the main entrance. Catering The café is situated on the ground floor and has step-free level access from the foyer and from the outside entrance there is a slight incline from the terrace area. Table service provided.
