. This group is only for students living in Newcastle University accommodation.
ResLife ReHome
ResLife
ReHome
is a University-wide sustainability initiative designed to support both students who are moving out and those who are just arriving. At the end of the academic year, outgoing students can donate good-quality items they no longer need, helping to reduce waste and prevent perfectly usable belongings from going to landfill.
These donated items are then cleaned, sorted and made available free of charge to new students during Welcome Week. This is especially helpful for international students who may arrive with limited luggage, as well as anyone looking to save money and settle in more comfortably.
Whether you’re leaving or just beginning your journey at Newcastle, taking part in ResLife ReHome means you’re helping other students, protecting the environment and contributing to a culture of sharing and kindness across our accommodation villages.
