Volunteer Program | International Spy Museum Get 10% Off The covert world of spying has always been TOP-SECRET. Not anymore! Help us uncover espionage stories and serve the nation's capital as a volunteer with the International Spy Museum. Museum volunteers are essential in inspiring and engaging our audiences in various ways. The International Spy Museum is currently recruiting adult volunteers to join our Guest Services team and our Webster Docent Corps. Current Volunteer Opportunities Guest Services volunteers are stationed at the Museum’s information desk and strategically throughout the Museum to serve as a resource to visitors who require orientation and information. As part of the Guest Services Department, volunteers greet and welcome visitors to the Museum, encourage the exploration of the Museum’s exhibition, provide wayfinding, and assist our visitors with external questions related to their visit, including transportation, nearby restaurant options, and other DC attractions. The International SPY Museum’s Webster Docent Corps guides visitors through a highlights tour of the Museum’s permanent exhibits, providing an orientation to the Museum’s galleries and sharing knowledge on the largest collections of espionage artifacts on display. Training Assistants (TAs) join the Museum’s Spy Camp staff for the coolest day camp experience in town! TAs work side-by-side with Spy Camp Training Officers (aka counselors) in leading recruits (campers ages 9-12) through a variety of exciting outdoor and indoor missions around the streets of DC.
