MAEOE Annual Conference
The MAEOE Annual Conference, Maryland’s largest environmental education event, attracts over 500 educators each February for a dynamic mix of workshops, discussions, networking, exhibits, and resource sharing. This year’s conference will be held in Towson, Maryland, from February 19-22, 2026. The theme is R

Green Schools
Established in 1999, the Maryland Green Schools Program (MDGS) stands as a nationally acclaimed initiative dedicated to fostering sustainability within schools. It has made a profound impact on both students and educational institutions. This program is closely aligned with the objectives outlined in the 2014 Chesapeake Bay Watershed Agreement and fully supports the graduation requirements and standards set forth by the Maryland State Department of Education.
