If you have not already provided a recent report card or transcript, please email it to registration@northallegheny.org click here for counseling Staff by School Placement assessments are offered at the following levels and subject areas. Middle School (6–8)—Math High School (9–12)—Math and World Language (based on language and year of study) Registrations completed in the spring or over the summer for enrollment in the next academic year have a scheduled time to take the Math assessments. For Students Moving into the District Testing will take place at Marshall Middle School (5145 Wexford Run Road, Wexford, PA 15090) . The testing will be administered in the cafe on the first floor at MMS. Testing times on each of the days listed below will be from 8:00 AM–Noon but students must arrive no later than 10:00 AM . The middle school tests take approximately 60 minutes and for students completing Algebra I or beyond, the test takes approximately 1.5 hours. There is no need to register in advance. Students are permitted to bring their own calculator, however, scientific and graphics calculators are available on site. For Students Attempting to Advance Over the Summer Testing will take place at CCAC North Campus (8701 Perry Hwy, Pittsburgh, PA 15237) on Thursday, July 23, 2026 , which is the last day of summer school at CCAC. NOTE: Students must bring their own calculator! Testing Dates for Students Moving into the District @ Marshall Middle School Wednesday, June 10 Wednesday, July 15 Wednesday, August 5 Testing Date for Students Attempting to Advance Over the Summer @ CCAC North Campus Thursday, July 23 NOTE: Students must complete exam in their room’s 3-hour testing window Transportation Registrations completed no later than three weeks before to the start of a new academic year will be notified by the Transportation Department via email. Registrations completed within three weeks before the start of a new academic year or anytime thereafter will be notified by the Transportation Department via phone. View the lunch menus on our website . The student ID provided is your student’s PIN number to purchase lunch. There are two ways to pay for meals: Send Cash/Check. The food services team will apply that dollar amount to your student’s account. Checks can be made to “NASD Cafeteria Fund”. PaySchools Central . The District utilizes this tool for electronic payment. When you are at the login screen, select “Register” to proceed with setting up the account. You will need the student ID to sign up for an account. Electronic Device Agreement Grades 6–8 Students in grades 6–8 will receive an iPad. Please sign and return this user agreement on your student’s first day of school. You are also asked to either accept or decline insurance on the device. This step will be completed after the device is received and will require you to access the asset tag on the back of the device. Volunteering Volunteering is a great way to engage with your student and their classmates. Each school has a parent organization consisting of either a PTO, PFA, or PTA. See your school website for details. Volunteers are required to have their PA Clearances. PowerSchool is the system you used during registration and the username/password created will be your log in to see information about your student once school starts. Within PowerSchool you will find announcements, grades, attendance, etc. SchoolMessenger is a tool utilized by the district to communicate such information as attendance notifications, school delays/cancellations, information about serious health-related issues, or a crisis response. Please take a moment to set your preferences Each building also provides communication on events and happenings within each building. TigerID TigerID is North Allegheny's single sign-on (SSO) platform which allows users to securely authenticate with multiple applications and websites with just a single username and password.  TigerIDs are distributed from Technology Services to all students and parents/guardians. Parents/Guardians after you receive an email from noreply-tigerid@northallegheny.org letting you know that your TigerID is ready to claim, you can follow the instructions on this webpage for setup: servicedesk.northallegheny.org/support/solutions/articles/5000082840 Once you have set up your TigerID account, please use TigerID to access the Tyler Parent Portal from that point onward , as the direct Tyler login you have used for registration up to this point is not supported after registration is complete.
