UTA's dual degree option enables students to earn two advanced degrees with significant savings in time and cost.

BENEFITS OF THE DUAL DEGREE PROGRAM
Students can apply a number of semester hours jointly to each degree, reducing the total number of hours to earn both degrees separately and the cost. The number of hours ranges from nine to eighteen hours, subject to the approval of Graduate Advisers/Directors from both programs. For the MCRP, the contacts are

DUAL MCRP MASTER DEGREE PROGRAMS
– MCRP and MPA (Master of Public Administration)
– MCRP and MPP (Master of Public Policy)
– MCRP and MSW (Master of Social Work)
– MCRP and M.Arch. (Master of Architecture)
– MCRP and MLARC (Master of Science in Landscape Architecture)
– MCRP and MSCE or M.Engr (Master of Science in Civil Engineering)/M.Engr. (Master of Engineering)
– MCRP and M.S.Ev.S.E. (Master of Science in Environmental Science and Engineering)
– MCRP and MSRE (Master of Science in Real Estate)*
*The Master of Science in Real Estate degree program is offered by the College of Business. The courses in the program are offered jointly by the College of Business (COB) and the College of Architecture, Planning and Public Affairs (CAPPA).
DEGREE REQUIREMENTS
Students must apply separately to each program and submit a separate program of work and proposed class schedule for each degree. Existing students can add a dual degree if they are admitted to the second program before completing beyond 24 credit hours in the MCRP program. Students must complete the second degree within three academic years following completion of the first.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN THE DUAL DEGREE PROGRAM
