Prenatal Checkup Leave
During Pregnancy Period, medical checkups are necessary to monitor the growth and development of the fetus and to manage the mother's health periodically.
The prenatal check-up time system
supports healthy childbirth for female workers
by alleviating the burden of leave required for regular check-ups from the time of pregnancy until childbirth and by supporting regular health check-ups for both the fetus and the mother.
reason
Article 57 of the Employment Regulations (Permission for Prenatal Examination Time, etc.)
Target
pregnant female Faculty & Staff
Content
Time required for regular prenatal health checkups (travel time, examination time, etc.) is granted as paid leave and is not deducted from annual leave days.
In principle, the time for prenatal examinations shall be used in accordance with the following standards; however, if it is a regular health examination for pregnant women pursuant to Article 10 of the Maternal and Child Health Act, exceptions may be made even if the timing or frequency differs slightly from the following standards.
