To achieve food security and sufficiency as well as ensure improved nutrition
To reposition Agriculture as the mainstay of the state's economy, develop value chains as well as increase export of Agricultural products from the state
To develop the tourism and hospitality sector by leveraging on the rich socio cultural heritage of the state, thereby making the state a tourist destination in the country
To develop, maintain and advertise tourist attraction sites in Akwa Ibom State
To ensure sustainability of the environment, the protection, and conservation of our natural resources as well as the mitigation of the adverse effects of climate change.
To promote the culture that ensures sustainable use of our environment and ecosystem in economic activities
To promote the use of green growth initiatives and develop a sustainable blue economy.
To facilitate and foster direct participation in the Oil and Gas upstream and downstream activities
To explore, exploit, and develop the solid minerals, mining and allied sectors of the state economy.
