They also safeguard your original by having a copy you can place away from the original in case of some disaster. Pickaway Places - Pickaway People Volume 7

150 historical stories published in the Circleville Herald over the past three years. Contains articles about towns, churches, stores, people and little-known locations. Available now by mail or pick-up at the library. The cost is $30.03 which includes tax and $5.00 postage and handling if mailed.
1890 Pickaway County Residents List ***Temporarily Out of Stock***
The replacement census for 1890 lists all of the persons found to be in Pickaway County during any part of the year 1890. The three volume set contains 1396 pages. Inhabitants are listed alphabetically. The cost is $85.00 plus $6.15 sales tax and $12.00 postage and handling if mailed.
Update of Cemeteries West of the Scioto River 2014

396 pages plus index. The cost is $28.00 plus $2.03 sales tax and $5.25 postage and handling if mailed.
New Resource Available
After more than four years, volunteers at the Pickaway County Historical and Genealogical Library have completed a list of residents for the year 1890 which will replace the 1890 census. For every name found, researchers were tasked with finding the birthdate and birthplace, parents' names, including the maiden name of the mother, the marriage date and place and to whom, and the children for each family. A code indicating the source of information for each resident is also included.
The residents' list has been published and is available on CD. The CD is $75.00 plus $5.44 tax and $3.00 shipping. Orders should be sent to PCH&GL, 210 North Court St. Circleville, OH 43113.

If your ancestors were residents of Pickaway County prior to December 31, 1830, you may qualify to become a member of First Families of Pickaway County.

Research and Orders Requests
Research will be completed by library volunteers on a first-come, first-served basis for $45 per surname this includes 10 copies. Requests must be made by regular mail to PCHS, 210 North Court Street, Circleville, OH 43113 and must include a letter of request with background information.
A check or money order for the research fee must accompany your request. All appropriate library collections will be researched and copies made of findings. Copies of large files will result in a request for copy costs at the rate of $.25 per copy.
Orders for books or CDs may be sent to the address above with the appropriate fees. Materials will be mailed within one week of receipt.
