A student attending college for the first time, either immediately after high school graduation or whenever you're ready, regardless of age. (May have taken college classes in high school.)

Self-reported SAT/ACT scores
Self-reported SAT/ACT test scores on the application are not used for admission purposes. They will be used for course placement purposes.
$40 application fee
Your application to Colorado Mesa University requests an application fee of $40. Contact your admissions counselor to waive your application fee.
Step 2
Submit Transcripts
CMU merit scholarships are offered based on the application for admission. Your eligibility will automatically be reconsidered if your qualifying criteria improves after admission. Updated transcripts must be sent directly to CMU from your high school in order to be considered official. Check out the

Official high school transcripts or GED scores
Upon completion of your application for admission, contact your high school to have an official copy of your high school transcripts sent to the Colorado Mesa University Admissions Office.
College credit earned during high school
While not required for admission, if you have earned college credit during high school, please have your official transcripts and/or test results sent directly to the Colorado Mesa University Admissions Office for a transfer evaluation. CMU will review transfer credit through Advanced Placement (AP), International Baccalaureate (IB) or college/university concurrent courses.
Academic Qualifications
Admission to Colorado Mesa University is selective for our baccalaureate degree programs. We also offer many associate degree programs with varying levels of selectivity. For students interested in our technical associate degrees and certificate programs offered through Western Colorado Community College (WCCC) – admission is generally open.
Higher Education Admission Recommendations
Incoming first-time students and those with less than 30 college credits should meet certain academic course requirements (listed below) for acceptance into four-year programs. A unit is equal to one full year of credit (Carnegie unit). The Colorado Commission on Higher Education has
