Specialty Procedures
Specialty Procedures is an outpatient procedural and nursing unit for patients to have procedures and treatments performed. This is not an overnight night unit but one where patients (inpatients or outpatients) can have specific procedures and short-term treatments performed by specialty trained staff members. Some of the procedures performed by our specialty trained physicians and nurses include colonoscopies, bronchoscopies, esophageal studies, port flushes, IV antibiotic infusions and many more.
Office hours for this unit are Monday to Friday from 6 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and is located in the heart of the hospital, near laboratory.
Patients who are treated in Specialty Procedures unit are referred first by their provider.
