Louisians shine as Team Apong Cagayan clinches Junior MPBL Championship

The University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao (USLT) extends its congratulations to Team Apong Cagayan for winning the 18 Under Junior Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) Championship on April 11, 2026, held in Las Piñas, Metro Manila.
Among the champions are three proud Louisians: Ken Carlo A. Calubaquib (Grade 12), Mark Angelo M. Addun (BS Geodetic Engineering), and Redd Lawrence Zachary T. Camat (G12).
The team was coached by Mr. Jayvin M. Taguba, a SECAP teacher, whose guidance and dedication were instrumental in securing the championship.
This achievement brings pride to Region II and highlights the growing presence of Louisian student-athletes in competitive sports.
