Holiday Camp
Alleyn's Holiday Camp is an Ofsted registered provider, where every day bursts with fun, action, and adventure.
Book Here for May and Summer
We welcome children who are between
Year 1 and Year 6
from any school, not just those attending school at Alleyn’s.
Please note we are unable to accept children attending school in Reception
Our camps are led by experienced staff who know how to maximise fun within a safe environment. With an emphasis on participation, we help children acquire new skills and confidence whilst making new friends. Our friendly team ensures that every day is bursting with variety and enjoyment. Days are planned carefully so there is plenty for every child to choose from.
Activities
Children have plenty of opportunities throughout the day to choose which activities they would like to take part in, empowering them to follow their interests or try something new. With a wide range of options available, children are encouraged to share their thoughts and ideas on games they would like to play to help shape their own experience.
Activities on offer may include football, gymnastics, dodgeball, kwik kricket, table tennis, benchball, rounders, basketball, tennis, netball, capture the flag, hockey, parachute games, the adventure playground and plenty more.
We also have opportunity for children to indulge in their creative side with a daily arts and crafts session in one of our Art Classrooms. Our specialist teachers promote a welcoming environment allowing children to explore their inner artist.
During breaks children play board games together, play with LEGO, draw and colour, or they might read a book if they prefer some quiet time.
Swimming
Unique to our camp, we provide every child with a structured swimming session each day. These sessions are delivered by our in-house team of ASA and Swim England qualified swimming teachers in our state-of-the-art pool.
Children who are unable to swim, who are learning to swim or who are unsure around water will work in small groups with their own dedicated swimming teacher to improve their abilities and increase their confidence.
For able and confident swimmers there will also be plenty of time for water-based fun such as water polo, splash sessions, pool games and diving practice.
When do we run?
Our camps run throughout the year during all Alleyn's School holidays (not including bank holidays).

Alleyn's Holiday Camp are now able to accept payment via Childcare Vouchers, Tax Free Childcare and credit/ debit card.
All bookings must be made through our online booking system, Kids Club HQ. We are not able to process bookings manually.

Tax Free Childcare
Parents can get up to £500 every 3 months (up to £2,000 a year) for each of their children to help with the costs of childcare. This goes up to £1,000 every 3 months if a child is disabled (up to £4,000 a year).
If you get Tax-Free Childcare, you’ll set up an online childcare account for your child. For every £8 you pay into this account, the government will pay in £2 to use to pay your provider.

We strongly encourage all visitors to consider how they travel to our site, and to choose active travel or public transport wherever possible.
Roads around Alleyn's are subject to a range of traffic and parking control measures including timed restrictions, so please pay careful attention to road signage and directions. In particular:
The junction on Townley Road and East Dulwich Grove is not available to cars in certain directions
between 8:00am to 9:00am
and
3:00pm to 4:30pm.
Southwark Council manages two different Controlled Parking Zones (CPZs) covering roads around the Senior and Junior School entrances. These areas are regularly patrolled by traffic wardens.
All restrictions apply year-round

what3words
We are
unable to care for children who have just completed Reception
during the summer holidays.
Alleyn’s Holiday Camp can
only accept children who have started Year 1
(i.e. children who will be going into
Year 2
).
Children remain part of the
Early Years and Foundation Stage (EYFS)
until
31 August following their fifth birthday
. As Alleyn’s Holiday Camp is not registered on the EYFS register, we are not permitted to care for children who fall within the EYFS age range.
Children at Alleyn’s Holiday Camp are usually split into three groups, depending on their age. This ensures that everyone can get the most out of their activities. Within these groups the children are free to choose the activity they like from those on offer in that particular session.
Children who are in the same year at school are usually in the same group and are able to stay with each other throughout the day.
If the children are of different ages please speak to the camp manager at drop off. We usually find that children will make plenty of new friends throughout their time at camp.
