Oral and Written Communication competencies
: Students will be able to effectively communicate ideas, concepts, and results via
oral and written communication channels.
Discipline-specific content knowledge
: Students will be able to demonstrate multiple-subject content knowledge in the disciplines
necessary for Pk-8 teaching. They will be able to identify and explain the conceptual,
theoretical, and methodological foundations in the areas of mathematics, natural sciences,
social sciences, humanities, and the arts.
Ethically Responsible Decision-Maker
: Students will be able to critically identify, synthesize, and evaluate ethical issues
through the use of evidence.
