Spiritual Life - Fort Bend Christian Academy
Spiritual Life
Faith Formation serves as the core value that distinguishes Fort Bend Christian Academy from other independent schools.
Our programs are purposefully crafted to immerse students in a Christ-centered environment - in the classroom, on the field or stage, and in any number of clubs and organizations. To that end, we offer daily Biblical Studies classes, a Biblical Worldview lens on all subject areas, and weekly opportunities for spiritual growth, worship, and service.
Our hope is that every student at FBCA draws nearer to Jesus. We pray they are transformed by the knowledge and experiences they encounter here, setting a firm foundation for their life and work in Christ’s kingdom.
First and foremost, here at FBCA, we rest securely in our primary role as educators, teaching our students not only the tenets of the Christian faith, history, and theology, but also formational habits and practices that will deepen and strengthen their faith.

Letter From the Director of Spiritual Life
Greetings!
In the Office of Spiritual Life, the spiritual well-being of our students is
our number one goal. We operate under the conviction that our students flourish spiritually as the result of a threefold partnership between parents, the Christian school, and the local church.
First and foremost, here at FBCA, we rest securely in our primary role as educators, teaching our students not only the tenets of the Christian faith, history, and theology, but also formational habits and practices that will deepen and strengthen their faith.
Additionally, we aim to support the other two relationships of the spiritual well-being equation: parents and the local church. We offer various programming and resources to strengthen our parents in their role as primary disciplers, as well as a variety of ways to make connections with, and get plugged into a local church.
Together, we answer Christ’s call to “make disciples” (Matthew 28). Trusting our students fully to the Lord, we look ahead and rejoice in the many ways He will use them in bringing His kingdom to fruition!
Grace and peace,
Ashley Ashcraft
