Our central units—which are the Office of Admissions, Graduate Recruitment, and International Admissions—work together as the operational backbone for campus-wide graduate admissions processes and recruitment activities. These teams partner closely with our seven schools and colleges to facilitate a smooth admission experience from application to enrollment. Processes school/college applications, collects official documents of incoming graduate students, and verifies that university-wide admission requirements have been met for degree and non-degree programs in the College of Arts & Media (CAM, MS in Recording Arts only), the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences (CLAS), and the School of Public Affairs (SPA). Supports prospective students who have general inquiries about graduate studies. Assists schools and colleges with recruitment activities and strategies. Leads and participates in various in-person and virtual recruitment and yield (post-admission, pre-enrollment) events for the graduate population. Receives Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE) and World Education Services (WES) materials from students who elect to have these third-party providers validate their credentials. Offers admitted student webinars for international admitted students.
