Students First
Ciara Robinson graduated with a 4.0 GPA, earning a double major in Political Science
and Criminal Justice. Hailing from New Jersey, she came to Kentucky State University
seeking the HBCU experience — and she made the absolute most of it.
A proud John Henry Jackson Scholar, Ciara received a full-ride scholarship and has
used every opportunity to grow, explore, and lead. She’s competed on our Honda Campus
All-Star Challenge (HCASC) team, traveling to other HBCUs, building lasting friendships,
and representing KSU in academic excellence.

, Political Science and Criminal Justice
A proud Spring 2025 graduate from Louisville, Kentucky, Mohamed Lowe earned his degree
in computer science with a focus on cybersecurity and network engineering. Throughout
his time at Kentucky State University, Mohamed stood out as a researcher, leader,
and innovator.
He served as an NSF Undergraduate Research Assistant, 4-H mentor, co-founder of the
African Student Union, and a member of MANRRS. He also played for the Thorobred football
team and remained active in campus life through mentorship and service.

Zion Lewis is a Biology Pre-Professional major from Cleveland, Ohio, baseball standout,
proud member of Omega Psi Phi’s Psi Psi Chapter, and your newly elected Mr. Senior
2025–2026.
He chose Kentucky State University for the HBCU experience close to home — and he’s
been making an impact ever since. As Senior Class President, a member of Omicron Delta
Kappa, and a driven pre-med student, he’s taken full advantage of KSU’s tight-knit
community.
