Why Pre-K through Eighth Grade?
My teachers have taught me to live my life both in and outside of school through the five sacred heart goals: faith, intellect, service, community, and maturity. These goals and this school do not just make me a Regis knight; it makes me a scholar and gentleman. . . .I feel very prepared for what challenges are ahead for me."
Jack J., Class of 2022
regis student since 2012
Our vision is to serve the needs of boys with the focus on learning that addresses not only how to excel in academics but also how to grow into young men of integrity and empathy.
Regis educators focus on the needs of boys from early childhood to adolescence, creating consistency for students throughout these developmental years in a supportive and loving community. The
Pre-K
through
Eighth Grade
environment gives Regis faculty the ability to know students well and better support their growth throughout their time at school.

The Regis Experience
is about supporting boys as they develop and grow in leadership from
Pre-K3
through
eighth grade
. By focusing on a more specific age group, our knowledgeable faculty is better able to tailor our program especially for these students.
At Regis, sixth through eighth grade students are not lost in the middle between elementary school and high school. They are the student role models and
leaders
of our school. Regis Middle School is about supporting boys in their executive functioning skills with a boy-friendly atmosphere that challenges and encourages learning through mistakes, trial and error, and grit.
A boy’s
spiritual development
is precious at every level of education. At Regis, boys live their faith and challenge their understanding. Once boys move on to high school, they have a firm foundation to expand upon.
The Regis eighth grade graduate is well prepared when it comes time to choose a new school community.
High school placement
at Regis focuses on the gifts boys develop throughout their years in the early childhood and lower school programs. Boys who join us midway through the elementary years integrate well with our community and embrace their social and emotional skills.
Many of our graduates are ready to embrace a new learning community when they finish their
Regis Experience
. Because of the opportunities available in a small school setting, Regis students have developed
leadership skills
, a good sense of their strengths and have learned how to self-advocate – all abilities that will serve them well as they move to the high school level.
Regis boys are challenged to take personal responsibility for their work and conduct every day as called for in
Sacred Heart Goal V
personal growth in an atmosphere of wise freedom
). Once students graduate, they are well on their way toward making wise decisions.
The Regis Experience
creates a solid foundation for students as they move on to high school.
