RSVP Now Utah State University 139th Commencement University Commencement Ceremony Students who graduate in Fall 2025 or Spring/Summer 2026 are invited to participate in the 2026 graduation ceremonies which include the University commencement and college convocations. The Commencement Ceremony will include the traditional walk from the University Quad to the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum where there will be the awarding of honorary degrees, Commencement speeches, and the conferring of degrees upon all graduates. At the college convocation, your name is read, and you "walk" up to be recognized, receive a diploma cover, and have a professional photo taken. Tickets are not required for any graduation ceremonies. Graduates will process from the University Quad to the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum. Family and friends are welcome to cheer along the route. The 30-minute procession is also broadcast live inside the Spectrum. Procession Map car Event Parking Free parking is available throughout campus to all students and their guests during Commencement. Bobby Wagner will serve as the Commencement Speaker and receive an Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters in recognition of his exceptional professional career and commitment to community service. Stan Albrecht, Joyce Albrecht and Ara Serjoie will also receive honorary degrees in recognition of their leadership, dedication to higher education and lasting contributions to the university and broader community. Bobby Wagner Commencement Speaker and Honorary Degree Recipient A USU alumnus, Bobby Wagner is an NFL All-Pro linebacker whose career achievements and philanthropic leadership exemplify excellence on and off the field. Stan & Joyce Albrecht Honorary Degree Recipients Former president of Utah State, Stan Albrecht and his wife, Joyce, are recognized for their enduring influence on USU through decades of leadership, advocacy for the arts and education, and meaningful service to the campus and community. Ara Serjoie Honorary Degree Recipient Ara Serjoie graduated from Utah State in 1998 and went on to a distinguished career in higher education advancement.
