The Orthopaedics, Trauma and Plastics Clinical Academic Group (CAG) is driving excellence across its key specialities.
The CAG covers a large surgical referral base within Guy’s and St Thomas’ and King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trusts. Our services include hip and knee replacements, complex spinal surgery, and a children’s orthopaedic team at the Evelina London Children’s Hospital. We are one of the largest plastic surgery departments in the UK.
The trauma and orthopaedic departments across the sites of Guy's and St Thomas' and King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trusts provide comprehensive training for Foundation Year and core trainees. We are in the process of developing e-learning modules in orthopaedics for undergraduate and postgraduate trainees.
Across our CAG, we are working together to ensure our clinical services and research innovations help improve the treatment we provide to our patients.
