This program is designed to provide a planned choice for child care that enhances the total learning experience. Kids' U Schedule Kids’ U opens in the morning before school starts and in the afternoon after school finishes for the day. Below is a schedule that shows the hours and times our doors open and close. If your child is dropped off before 7:30 am they will automatically be signed into Kids’ University. Morning Hours: Mon - Fri 6:30 am - 7:30 am Afternoon Hours: Mon - Thurs Dismissal Time - 6:00 pm Afternoon Hours: Friday 12:15 pm - 4:00 pm Minimum Days: Mon - Thurs 12:15 pm - 6:00 pm Closed: School holidays & breaks Schedule Summer Day Camp Hours: Mon - Thurs 6:30 am - 6:00 pm Summer Day Camp Hours: Friday 6:30 am - 4:00 pm A LATE FEE OF $10 EVERY 5 MINUTES WILL BE APPLIED MONDAY-THURSDAY BEGINNING AT 6:05 PM AND FRIDAY BEGINNING AT 4:05 PM. Study Hall Study hall is offered for each grade level Monday through Thursday. This time is available for students to complete their homework and reading assignments in a quiet atmosphere. There is a predetermined time for snack, but we ask that they are sent from home. Check In & Out Procedures We at Kids’ U want to ensure the safety of your child. In order to achieve this, we have several procedures and precautions that we follow while your child is at Kids’ U. Each child has a dismissal time depending on their grade. TK-2nd - dismissed at 2:40 pm 3rd & 4th - dismissed at 2:45 pm 5th & 6th - dismissed at 3:15 pm 7th & 8th - dismissed at 3:20pm All children are to sign in immediately after they are dismissed from school. For the safety of your child, we stress the importance of signing in to Kids’ U; this is how we keep track of your child. Upon picking your child up from Kids’ U at the end of the day, please sign them out at the Kids’ U window on the electronic signature pad/pin pad provided. Failure to sign your child out of Kids’ U may result in a charge for the entire afternoon. Bleacher Policy: Bleachers close promptly each day. WEST END: Monday—Thursday at 3:30 pm Friday at 12:45 pm EAST END: Monday - Thursday at 3:45 pm Friday at 12:45 pm If your child is not picked up at bleachers before the gate is locked, they will be automatically signed into Kids’ U. The charges will revert back to school dismissal time (dismissal time varies per grade). Kids' U Rates Basic Fee: $6 per hour, or fraction of an hour. Late Pick-up Fees: $10 per 5 minutes starting at 6:05 pm Monday -Thursday and 4:05 pm Friday. Kids’ U closes promptly at 6:00 pm Monday - Thursday and 4:00 pm Friday Failure to pick your child up at closing time results in late fees. We charge these fees in order to pay two people to stay longer than budgeted. Kids’ U enforces this policy and is backed by Loma Linda Academy Administration.
