The Ferris Parent Portal is the source for all the information you need to know as Bulldog Parent. If not, can you pay in full or reasonably pay the out of pocket if divided into 3 or 4 monthly payments? If not, do you need to accept student loan offers and/or apply for an alternative loan option to cover? Students should head to Ferris360 to accept or decline their financial aid award offer. Accept/Decline Award Offer Grants - free money, does not have to be repaid Scholarships - free money, does not have to be repaid Student available/Work Study - Does not pay bill. Job postings August 1 in Ferris360. Loans - Repayment begins 6 months after graduation or dropping below half-time attendance If you need loans, we recommend that you accept these first. Subsidized loans - no interest while enrolled at least half time. 6.39% fixed interest rate thereafter Unsubsidized loans - accrue interest while in school at 6.39% fixed interest rate Access ElmSelect Private Loan Options for Undergraduate Student or Parent Borrowers to begin your search. You may select any lender you wish. We will process loans from any lender that you choose. If your student will be living within 50 miles of campus, they should complete the Housing Plan Update Form Verify that you have enough financial aid to cover your bill in full or Be prepared to pay your balance in full by August 14 or Enroll in a payment plan option and make the first installment payment before August 14 Class schedule drop for non-payment will take place after August 14 for failure to take action as described above.
