Vision
The vision of REPRC-EfD Nigeria is to be a key research and policy engagement center in Sub-Saharan Africa with a major focus on Nigeria; training students that will act as change agents in Nigeria and the regional environment sector; implementing cutting-edge research that will have both local and global impact; while providing evidence-based input into policy formulation towards solving the myriads of environmental and economic development problems in Nigeria and the region.
Major areas of contribution
REPRC-EfD Nigeria focuses on major environmental and economic challenges that affect Sub-Saharan Africa, with a bias to Nigeria, in agriculture, ecosystem, natural resources, climate change, energy, and pollution. Fighting poverty and increasing equality are priority areas.
Affiliation
The Resource and Environmental Policy Research Centre, EfD Nigeria is located at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Enugu State, Nigeria. The Centre was established in 2018 by the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (
www.unn.edu.ng
), to advance interdisciplinary research, capacity building, and policy engagement across the different dimensions of environmental and resource economics. A Director manages the Centre. It has 43 Research Fellows, an Administrative Officer, a Communication Officer, and a Data Manager.

Vision
