Sometimes even the most natural thing in the world needs a little help. WIC provides breastfeeding/chestfeeding resources including peer counselors and professional lactation consultants.
WIC Peer Counselors are Parents Just Like You!
Peer Counselors offer information and support to help you reach your feeding goals. Peers are available outside of normal WIC clinic hours so you can get your questions answered when it’s convenient for you.

Preparing to Breastfeed & the Secrets of Baby Behavior
Learn how to know what your baby is telling you and get tips on beginning a strong breastfeeding/chestfeeding relationship. Babies, partners, and family members are welcome. Best to attend during pregnancy.

In just 4 weeks for about 5 minutes a day, build the knowledge and confidence you need to meet your infant feeding goals.
App users in a pilot study were 6 times more likely to breastfeed than people who did not use the app.
