STARFISH Early Alert | Fredonia.edu STARFISH Early Alert STARFISH Early Alert is designed to facilitate communication between instructors, students, academic advisors and other campus resources. STARFISH at Fredonia: Supporting Student Success!! Starfish at Fredonia is an early alert communication tool that supports student success. Students, academic advisors, and support staff are alerted when academic performance issues arise which may threaten the success of the student. The student is then connected with a member of the Starfish Team, advisors, faculty and other offices on campus to help promote and support their success. Starfish at Fredonia enables instructors to: Send a “call to action” message directly to students about poor academic performance or attendance Send electronic “kudos” to acknowledge positive academic progress Directly refer students to additional support resources or services Starfish at Fredonia allows students to: Raise Your Hand - To ask for help, in a digital format 24-hours a day, when you have a question and don't know who to ask. Check My Success Network - To view the contact information for all of your current instructors, advisors, and other support people in one place. Access a gallery of additional campus resources available to all students in the Your Services link. Getting Started with Starfish at Fredonia Getting started is easy!  Access Starfish by logging into your account using the STARFISH login button.  This will take your to your Starfish home page.
