Once your online orientation is complete you'll be ready to sign up for in-person orientation. In-person orientation registration opens on February 2, 2026, so mark your calendars and see Step 3 to register when the time comes. Step 1 Your Account To get started, you need to setup your Ferris State account. First, get your username and password , then check our password assistance page or call our help desk at (231) 591-4822 to update your password. Step 2 Online Orientation Get started with online orientation! You'll learn the basics and get ready to continue your adventure on campus during in-person orientation. Check Calendar More Ways to Prepare Housing If you're required to live on campus, you will need to make sure to apply for housing before you can register for classes. Head to MyHousing to get started. You can find it in the Housing section of Ferris360 Tools Billing You will find your student bill in Ferris360 . You will be notified at your Ferris email address of new statements. If you want your family to see your bill and make payments, make sure to add them as an authorized user. Student ID Your Ferris ID has superpowers. Check out books, attend events, access the rec center, and receive student discounts at local businesses. You can pick up your ID at the Student Service Center Orientation FAQ You will find info on paying orientation fee in the online orientation. You can also find more information on our fee page Not ready to pay? No worries! You can add your orientation fee to your first semester bill. Orientation Fee Refund A refund of the enrollment fee will be made when notice of cancellation is received by the Admissions Office in writing no later than June 1 for Fall semester enrollees or 30 days prior to the registration date for Spring or Summer semester enrollees. Cancellation after the deadline for any semester will result in forfeiture of the enrollment fee. You are eligible to have a motor vehicle on campus, as long you register it with our Department of Public Safety. Head to Ferris360 to register for a parking permit . You will need your on-campus housing assignment (if living on campus) or your address (if you live off campus), a valid driver’s license number, and a current vehicle registration. Make sure the fam has all the answers they need to support you as a Bulldog. Send them to the Parent's Portal to find all the details.
