Sylhet Agricultural University (SAU) is inviting applications for foreign students for the 2025-2026 session.  The details regarding the programs, eligibility and application procedure are as follows:

Application Procedure:
Initial Application
:
Interested students should apply via email to the Registrar of the
university with the following documents:

Evaluation and Selection
:
The documents will be reviewed by the SAU Evaluation Committee. Primary selected
candidates will be informed about the date and time to appear online
admission test for final selection. Eligible candidates will receive a
provisional acceptance letter.
Final Admission
:
Candidates
must apply to the Bangladesh Embassy in their country after receiving the
provisional letter. The final admission letter will be issued after processing
through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Education of
Bangladesh.
In-Person Reporting
:
The candidate must report in person at SAU on the scheduled date with
relevant documents.
Eligibility Criteria:
Passed SSC /10th Grade/
equivalent exam
in 2021/2022/2023 and HSC/12th Grade/
equivalent exam
in 2024/2025.
Science background with subjects:
Zoology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics.
o
Minimum
of 12 years of education from recognized institutions. B grade or 50% marks in
Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Good Proficiency in English.
o
GPA
3.0 (out of 5.0) at Secondary and GPA 4.0 (out of 5.0) at Higher Secondary
levels
o
In
case of A and O level applicants must obtain at least 'C' grade in five
subjects (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English).
o
Medical
fitness certificate from a registered physician.
