AI For Good - AI Singapore Skip to content Our Mission AI for Good is a branch of initiatives under LearnAI, focusing on outreach initiatives to underprivileged communities. This initiative seeks to bridge the digital divide by making AI resources, tools and knowledge accessible to those who may otherwise lack opportunities, creating meaningful and positive impact. Our Goals SDG 4: Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all. With AI for Good, we aim to align ourselves with SDG4 by empowering communities, reducing inequality, and driving progress across other SDGs as we believe that education underpins other goals. Collaboration is key to ensuring the widespread adoption and implementation of AI-driven solutions that address community-specific challenges. By partnering with governments, academic institutions, non-profits, and private sector organizations, we hope to create strengthened community networks through shared resources and expertise. AI for Good aims to provide hands-on training programs to equip individuals with the practical skills needed for future-proof careers, enabling them to actively participate in and contribute to a tech-driven economy. Our Initiatives AI Ready ASEAN AI Singapore is the local implementing partner for the AI Ready ASEAN initiative, in partnership with the ASEAN Foundation and supported by Google.org. The initiative is committed to empowering ASEAN citizens to thrive in the era of AI. Running from 2024 to 2026, the programme will engage individuals in AI learning, cultivate Master Trainers, and establish a central e-learning platform, ensuring the region is equipped with the foundational knowledge of AI literacy, thereby helping ASEAN citizens navigate their future with confidence. AI for Good (Educator) Train-the-Trainer Programme The Al For Good (Educator) Train-the-Trainer Programme aims to #PLUSskill 100 educators from ASEAN and empower them to conduct 40 Al classes for 5,000 students in their home communities. We equip trainers to conduct their own workshops which touch on crucial topics such as Basic Al, Limitations of Al and Responsible Al Use. AI Opportunity Fund: Asia-Pacific Al Singapore, as a Strategic Partner, develops, delivers, and manages the Train-the-Trainer programme with AVPN. AVPN, in collaboration with Google.org and Asian Development Bank (ADB), will support workers across Asia Pacific who are most impacted by workforce transitions that are driven by Al.
