Our work
Schools
We welcome early years, primary, secondary, college and SEND school groups to the museum for bookable creative, issue-based workshops and self-led visits. We have co-created the Discovery Garden with local primary schools, a child-friendly outdoor space.
We offer a range of creative workshops for early years, primary, secondary college and SEND school groups. All sessions are curriculum-linked and explore concepts of home through issue-based themes including gender equality and activism, migration and identity, and sustainability.
For those looking to get to know the museum independently, we also offer self-led visits.
We have also been working in partnership with two local primary schools to co-develop a new Discovery Garden at the museum, creating child-friendly access to green spaces.
