Rotary Uganda – Mengo Hospital Skip to footer Rotary Uganda Rotary is one of Mengo Hospital’s most significant partners, playing an all important role in expanding the hospital’s capacity to deliver quality, life-saving care. In 2017, with the support of Rotary District 9211 and various Rotary Clubs from around the world, Rotary helped establish the Mengo Rotary Blood Bank . Today, this facility supplies over 40% of the blood required in the Kampala Metropolitan area , making it a cornerstone of emergency healthcare in the region. Rotary has also been instrumental in supporting the establishment of the hospital’s Dialysis Centre through the Rotary Club of Kampala South . This unit now offers some of the most affordable dialysis services among private hospitals in Uganda. Rotary’s commitment to service above self continues to strengthen Mengo Hospital’s ability to meet the evolving healthcare needs of the community.
