School of Music - Greater Atlanta Christian School School of Music The study of music is a vital component of a well-rounded education. The School of Music provides private one-on-one instruction for all students K4-12th grade, for both students within and outside of the GAC community. Students develop technical skills, improve musicianship, and enhance their artistic expression through guided instruction. Music instructors customize sessions to hone each student's natural gifts and to polish their abilities to work as both an individual musician and within groups.  Lessons are offered before school, during the school day, as well as after school to provide the most convenient option for our GAC families. Instruction is offered for: Piano Voice Guitar Strings Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass Woodwinds Flute, Clarinet, Oboe, Bassoon, Saxophone Brass Trumpet, French Horn, Trombone, Tuba Percussion Drum Set, Concert Percussion Songwriting "Our family has been blessed by the School of Music in so many ways. Having lessons available right on campus makes it so convenient for our family, taking one thing off our plate every week because there are no lessons to rush to in the evenings. His teacher, Mrs. Esther, challenges Charlie to improve every week, finding the perfect blend of encouragement, fun, and hard work. My son has surpassed my abilities on the piano, and has already asked if he can continue with piano lessons next year. I am so thankful to his teacher and the School of Music for helping us to instill a love of music in our son." Shelley Woodward, School of Music Parent What ages can participate?
