Middle School at Eastside Catholic
A community where students are known, challenged and supported during a time of change.
Middle school is a time of rapid development — physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially. At Eastside Catholic School, we meet students in grades 6-8 where they are, offering a safe, structured environment that nurtures curiosity, builds confidence and fosters a lifelong love of learning.
A Safe, Supportive and Connected Community
Student well-being is our top priority. With a proactive approach to safety and a strong culture of respect, we create an environment where students feel secure, valued and empowered to grow. Our small school size ensures every student is known by name and surrounded by trusted adults and peers who care.
Through our Middle School Mentor Program, students join a “middle school family” —small, grade-level groups led by dedicated faculty mentors. Weekly gatherings focus on social-emotional learning, character development and relationship-building, helping students navigate middle school with confidence and connection.
Learning That Inspires and Prepares
Our holistic curriculum blends academic rigor with personal growth. We don’t just teach content—we cultivate curiosity, critical thinking and a growth mindset. Students explore meaningful questions like:
How do we know what we know?
What’s the evidence, and how reliable is it?
How do perspectives shape our understanding?
Why does this matter?
Our teachers are more than educators — they’re mentors who guide students through inquiry-based learning, helping them develop the skills and confidence needed for high school and beyond. With high expectations and personalized support, we ensure every student is prepared for what’s next.

I love teaching middle schoolers because it gives me a chance to make a huge difference at a time that can be really challenging for kids.
